At every stop there's a surprise encounter and a small miracle waiting, and as they whoop it up across the country, attracting interest wherever they go, they share their deepest secrets—tales of broken hearts and second chances, missed opportunities and new beginnings. Better an elegant small book than the author's streams of pedestrian platitudes and predictable similes. By the end chapters, I sort of wanted to skip to the end because she'd said I started out with high hopes for this book, but it turned out a little anticlimactic for me. The accidental timing for reading this was appropriate.

Isn't it something how we can take something that is so painful it makes you drop to the floor and turn it into a life lesson that makes you actually glad it happened? The writing is another matter. If five women are drinking together and someone buys them a round of drinks, on two separate occasions surely one of them is going to be curious Rarely do I review a book but this one ticked me off so much I can hardly stand it!!! Originally published on Epinions at www.

As nurses, our sense of humor can be off kilter to some. Annie had carefully considered every single detail. This celebration of life, not death, was a bit of a stretch. They constantly shared their thoughts and created Annie thoughts. Katherine's oldest and dearest friend, the irrepressible Annie Freeman, left one final request--a traveling funeral--and she wants the most important women in her life as "pallbearers.

Annie Freeman"s fabulous traveling funeral by Kris Radish Download PDF Ebook

I found it sad that she was unable to share so much of her life while alive. What a hoot and what fun! Read this story for the unique celebration of life and healing offered.

I didn't buy the witty banter that attempted to be so telling of their unique personalities - so unique I couldn't remember which name Annie Freemans fabulous traveling funeral book to which character, or who was saying what.

We get on with it. Uh, so not true! Saturday, May 2, Annie Freeman's Fabulous Traveling Funeral by Kris Radish Summary: Radish's Annie Freemans fabulous traveling funeral book overwrought book tracks five strangers— turned—soul mates over the course of the titular funeral, posthumously organized by their friend Annie, who died from ovarian cancer at age The concept of a traveling funeral intrigued me.

Just because five women are grieving does not mean they all burst into tears simultaneously throughout their travels. By the end chapters, I sort of wanted to skip to the end because she'd said I started out with high hopes for this book, but it turned out a little anticlimactic for me.

I had hoped to see the group of women form completely new relationships based upon Annie. Yet, we know death does not have to be morbid but a celebration of life. Most importantly, these unorthodox urnbearers understand the greatness Annie saw in them and attain the courage to act on it.

She knows that women who have climbed through a large chunk of their lives are always wise enough to realize that certainty equals uncertainty.

Better an elegant small book than the author's streams of pedestrian platitudes and predictable similes. I read this as I watched my aunt suffer undeserved indignities in the hospital.
